A browser side-panel that watches the page you're on, coaches you through real hands-on work, writes the exact command into your DigiPad, and checks your result. Voice optional.
Current build: v0.5.2 · Chrome & Edge · updated 2026-08-16
Install — 2 minutes
This is a manual (unpacked) install — no store needed. Keep the unzipped folder somewhere permanent; Chrome runs the extension straight from it.
Documents\DigitalExpo-Coach. Don't delete this folder later; the extension loads from it.chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions) in the address bar.digitalexpo-coach-extension folder (the one containing manifest.json).First time you use voice — the Coach opens a one-time tab asking for microphone access. Click Allow, then come back and tap the mic. (Text works with no permission at all.)
To see your own books — tap Sign in in the Lesson bar and log in with your DigitalExpo account (email/password or Google). Free coaching works signed-out.
Staying current
We ship often. Manual installs don't auto-update, so when the version above changes:
chrome://extensions and click Reload ↻ on the DigitalExpo Coach card. Done.Bookmark this page and check the version line at the top — that's how you'll know a new build is out.
Hands-free stability: adaptive barge-in that won't cut the Coach off on its own voice or room noise; calmer voice detection.
Voice transport — Pause / Resume (picks up right where it left off) and Stop, shown while the Coach is speaking.
Barge-in — talk over the Coach to interrupt. In-panel Sign in (email/password + Google).
Hands-free conversation mode — it listens, answers, then listens again.
Lesson Mode — pick a book you own and a section; the Coach teaches strictly from it.
Help us break it
Open a terminal, cloud console, or any page — tap the eye and ask the Coach what to do next.
Run the command it writes, then tap "look again" — does it read your result correctly?
Turn on hands-free, then talk over the Coach mid-sentence. Does it stop cleanly and hear you?
Sign in with email/password or Google — do your owned books show up in the Lesson dropdown?
Found a bug or a rough edge? Note the build version and what you did, and send it our way — the messier the report, the more useful. Thank you for testing early. 🙏
