This edition gives you the full OpenStax Clinical Nursing Skills textbook, paired with OSB Tutor support. The original textbook is free and remains free. The textbook moves from the nurse's role and clinical foundations into communication, health history, cultural competence, infection prevention, hygiene, wound care, mobility, specimen collection, medication administration, vital signs, pain, nutrition, oxygenation, fluids, psychosocial assessment, body-system assessment, and clinical judgment. Read in course order if your instructor assigns it that way. If you are reviewing for a specific check-off, start with the chapter tied to that skill.
This is for nursing students, pre-nursing learners, returning learners, and healthcare students who need a complete open textbook with a Tutor beside it. It is especially useful when you can read the material but need help turning it into a sequence you can explain out loud.
