Your upload is used only to privately evaluate whether it’s a fit for a DigitalExpo interactive edition. Submission does not guarantee publication.

What you allow (evaluation only): privately store and review the manuscript; extract and process its content; create internal technical representations (converted text, indexes, metadata, embeddings, processing artifacts); use AI to analyze it; create private samples or demonstrations showing how it could work as a DigitalExpo interactive edition or AI Coach; and perform technical and content-readiness evaluation — for evaluation and demonstration to you only.
What you do NOT authorize: selling your book; distributing it to readers; publicly displaying the complete manuscript; publishing it on DigitalExpo; licensing or sublicensing it; using it as DigitalExpo-owned content; transferring your copyright; or using it to train a DigitalExpo general-purpose AI model. A separate DigitalExpo Author Agreement must be signed before any commercial publication or distribution.
You must have the right to submit. By uploading, you confirm you own the manuscript and the rights to submit it, or have authorization from the rights holder. Do not upload material you don’t own or have permission to submit.
No commitment by either party. Submission is an evaluation step only. You are not obligated to publish with DigitalExpo, and DigitalExpo is not obligated to accept or publish your manuscript. If both parties proceed, publication, distribution, revenue sharing, AI Coach usage, marketing, and pricing are governed by a separate DigitalExpo Author Agreement.
Retention. Manuscripts and evaluation materials are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate the submission, communicate with you, and meet applicable legal and operational requirements.
